The step frame, the arrow, the window behind them: a level 20 paladin in Stormwind.
The window is wider than your screen: swipe sideways inside it.

Help
It says the addon is out of date
Tick Load out of date AddOns on the character screen.
I see a Lua error
Type /qb errors: a box opens with each problem, already selected, so Ctrl+C copies it for the Discord. Check that QuestBank.toc sits directly in Interface\AddOns\QuestBank, not a folder deeper.
The XP differs from the plan
The chat line after a hand-in shows both numbers. From then on QuestBank uses the game's number and shares it with your party; upload your file and the next release carries it for everyone.
It offers a quest I did already
Type /qb done and the quest's name to see what the game says about it. If a quest you did before QuestBank still shows, tell the Discord its name.
Do I need TomTom?
No. Waypoints show on QuestBank's own arrow, and a link in chat puts the game's map pin there. With TomTom installed, it gets them too.
Does it accept or hand in for me?
Only as you chose in the welcome: Off, quests on your route, or quests worth taking, and whether finished quests are handed in for you. Settings' Guide section changes it; hold Shift at an NPC and it keeps its hands off.
How do I update?
Unzip the new QuestBank over the old folder; your plan and settings are kept. QuestBank users tell each other when a newer one is out, and /qb update copies the download link.
Changelog
- 6.2.0Quests ranked by XP a minute, measured as you play: three big quests close by beat fifteen small ones far away; the step frame says who, where and how long, clear of the arrow; quiet chat; no arrow in dungeons; Guide choices and timings now survive logout.
Earlier versions
- 6.1.1Missing buffs stay up until you have them, your party's too; the game's quest tracker steps aside for the step frame; no grey quests on the maps unless you ask; one line to where you go next; the Southshore ferry, and boats learned as you ride them.
- 6.1.0QuestBank can run inside Cute as its quest modules; nothing changes on its own.
- 6.0.1A dungeon quest you hold is a Do step at its entrance, never a hand-in until done; The Hall of Thanes has its way in.
- 6.0.0QuestBank guides from the first login: a step frame, the arrow on, auto accept as you choose it.
- 5.4.4The arrow, the minimap and the Map page lead to the same place, and keep to one quest while you run.
- 5.4.3The interact light also lights objects; Restore the game's settings puts back everything it changed.
- 5.4.2No more lag late in a session, and less memory.
- 5.4.1The map's pins are the game's own, and the minimap and the arrow wear QuestTrail's look.
- 5.4.0Your own map, a minimap that goes far, a journal with every face, and gear to go and get.
- 5.3.2Fixes from the first players' test: the game's own world map, key bindings for every page, several quests picked up at once.
- 5.3.1The arrow takes you all the way there, by the flight paths you have.
- 5.3.0A questing guide you see, not read: objectives on the minimap, the Dungeon Journal as a page, the camp bar.
- 5.2.1Less text in the window, and a level 3 character no longer sees "Level -2".
- 5.2.0Drop rates in the guide: quests whose items drop poorly say so, and weigh less.
- 5.1.0The Party page for every party, QuestBank or not.
- 5.0.0The window rebuilt in the modern Blizzard look, around questing: a sidebar, Now as the home page, one-click chips on Available.
- 4.1.0Reminders as toasts at the top of the screen: a campfire lit, Well Fed run out, the sleeping bag packed.
- 4.0.0The visual pass: the Dungeon Journal, the golden path, crisp pins and a real light.
- 3.9.0The route on the minimap, dungeon maps, the interact light, walked trails.
- 3.8.0Timers, links, and settings that follow where you are.
- 3.7.0QuestBank asks the game what it will tell addons: the event probe, nothing about you.
- 3.6.2Who drops what, every item's tooltip, 40 more quests, and the XP the game paid on 164 of them.
- 3.6.1The fixes for the game's "Interface action failed because of an AddOn" messages.
- 3.6.0Quest icons on each zone's map, and one addon instead of two: QuestBank notes items and spells for the Database itself, and the Windows uploader is QuestBank Uploader (what to do with the old addon).
- 3.3.2to 3.5.10: uploading what you discover, the direction arrow, the accept and hand-in switches, the Quest Log's finder, every quest's rewards in its tooltip, chains on Available, XP readings with the +3% buff left out, and data releases from what players uploaded.
