ForeverProbe is part of QuestBank now
One addon instead of two. Since 3.6.0, QuestBank notes what ForeverProbe did for the site: the items the game shows you, the spells you have learned and the gear you wear and carry, with no names. ForeverProbe's pace bar, guild roster and /probe export are gone with it.
What to do
Get QuestBank 3.6.0 or newer from the QuestBank page. On Windows, download QuestBank Uploader and double-click its Install.bat: it installs or updates QuestBank in your game folders, and replaces the old ForeverProbe Sync, keeping your WoW folder and what it already sent.
Log in once with both addons on. QuestBank brings in what ForeverProbe kept (item tooltips, spells and gear, never names), then says in chat that you can delete ForeverProbe.
Delete the ForeverProbe folder from Interface\AddOns. From then on QuestBank's own saved file, QuestBank.lua, is the only one to upload.
Now in QuestBank
- The tooltip of each item the game shows you, the spells you have learned and the gear you wear and carry: one reading per class and race, with no character, realm or guild names. The Database marks what players' games showed.
- Only on the Forever client. Settings, Discoveries has the switch: Note items, spells and loot, for foreverrank.com, on unless you untick it. Unticking forgets what it had noted.
- It stays on your PC until you upload
QuestBank.luaon the QuestBank page, or QuestBank Uploader sends it.
Gone
- The pace bar, the
/probepanel and its export. - The nemesis list, the guild roster snapshot and the trainer scans.
- ForeverProbe Sync: QuestBank Uploader takes its place. Questions go to the Discord.
