ForeverRank datamine, beta client 1.60.1.69876, September 17 2026
What is Forever, what is leftover
Half of what you can datamine out of the Forever beta client is not Forever. The branch carries Season of Discovery and stray retail data wholesale, and any fansite that does not separate the eras is showing you a lie by accident. This is the method we use on every row of this site.
The ID bands
Blizzard allocates IDs in ranges, and the ranges tell on them. Items below 100,000 are Classic. 100,000 to 199,000 are retail leftovers. 199,000 to 239,000 is the Season of Discovery band. From 239,000 up is Forever's own work. Spells follow the same logic: 400,000 to 470,000 is SoD, above 1.2 million is Forever-authored. Instance maps split cleanly too; Demon Fall Canyon, the Scarlet Enclave and Karazhan Crypts shipped in SoD and carry map IDs at or below 2921, while Forever's new instances start at 2959.
Wired versus inert
A row existing means nothing; SoD's entire spellbook exists in this client. What matters is wiring. A spell with a class mask, a learn level, a trainer row or a talent reference is curated into the branch: someone connected it. A spell with none of that is inert, either debris or content hidden until discovery. Rune of the World Tree exists in the data, unwired, and is exactly the SoD leftover it looks like. The chronomancy kit exists in the data, class-masked to Mage, which is why it gets reported instead of deleted.
The proof case
The item set tables made the cleanest demonstration yet: every reworked dungeon set appears twice. The live copy rides the original Classic item IDs and carries the new five-bonus layout. The shadow copy sits entirely in the 199,000 to 239,000 SoD band with the old 2, 4, 6, 8 layout, 278 sets of pure debris, riding along because deleting data is work nobody was assigned.
What this buys you
Every row on the Database answers for its era. SoD and retail leftovers hide behind one labeled toggle instead of polluting the defaults, Forever-authored rows say so, and when a bonus reuses a SoD spell inside a live Forever set, the chip says that too. When the beta opens the gates further, the bands will sort the flood on day one.
Method: ID band analysis across Item, Spell, Map and ItemSet tables of beta client 1.60.1.69876, wiring checks against class masks, learn levels, trainer rows and talent references. Bands are inferred from observed data and refined as the beta patches.
